We at the Riviera Club Foundation value water safety and believe everyone has the right to learn how to swim. To do our part in preventing drownings, we provide life-saving water safety education and Learn to Swim programs to those who otherwise wouldn’t have access.

Water Safety for Parents and Caregivers

This online course focuses on developing an awareness of the risks of drowning and how to minimize those risks especially for young children. Parents and caregivers will learn about the concepts of the “Circle of Drowning Prevention”, the “Chain of Drowning Survival”, and what it means to be water competent. It also provides guidance for applying water safety to common environments and situations where children are most at risk for drowning.
